PO TEHNOROS will supply a container gantry crane for the multimodal transport and logistics centre Freight Village VORSINO

PO TEHNOROS has signed a contract for the design, manufacture and supply of a 45 tonne capacity container gantry crane (RMG) for the Freight Village Vorsino multi-modal transport and logistics centre.

The crane KK-Knt 45-32/8/9/9,7-12,5-A7,U1 will serve the railway container terminal located at Vorsino station in the Kaluga region. It will carry out a full range of works on transshipment of containers weighing up to 45 tonnes.

The crane control system is based on a controller and frequency converters from the leading manufacturers. Frequency control allows realising an infinitely variable speed control range with programmable acceleration and deceleration rates.

The crane is equipped as standard with an effective Active Anti-Sway System (ASPS), which provides stabilisation of the load position during movement of the load carriage, the crane itself, as well as in case of wind gusts. The system also provides the possibility of container reloading with the shift of the centre of gravity of 15% from the outer dimension of a 40 foot container on the long side and 25% on the narrow side, which makes it possible to reload unevenly loaded containers, including turning.

- Lifting height - 12,5 m (stacking height 3+1);
- Working reach of jibs - 9,7 and 8 m;
